Need help trouble shooting my D180. works great except I can't seem to get the OAT display on the 180screen. I selected type 1 probe, but says it can't locate. I've tried selecting different probes-no joy.
Both the D180 and the EDC-10a remote compass have the same update, version 5.4.
Connections all look good.

I had a problem with my 180; it wouldn't provide airspeed readouts. I called Dynon, they gave me a RMA number and I paid the shipping back to the shop. They repaired it (bad sensor) and sent it back to me. No charge and very fast service. I suspect you have a similar problem with you OAT. Give them a call. Great folks.

Do you have the OAT set for the left or right display? If not you need to nominate this otherwise it will not be shown anyway.

Secondly the OAT probe I assume is wired into the EDC-10A? And if so I think it should be a 3 wire probe.

If it is wired into the EMS harness you need to specify which of the GP inputs it is wired into as being for OAT.

Should just work.....
