There was some discussion a few weeks ago about drink holders in RV's. I finally took some pictures of my installation.
In front of each seat I have a 3 inch PVC coupling screwed to the spar cover using an existing screw cover hole and nut plate. Grind the bottom of the coupling to match the floor when held against the spar cover. Drill a hole in the coupling to match the hole for the cover. Counter sink and attach with a CS screw. Insert your favorite drink in a cooly or cuzy or whatever you want to call it.

It is ease to make, cheap, does not get in your way and works very well.

Here is a link to some pictures.

Wow - how timely. I was just thinking about this tonight. OF all the ideas I saw from that thread you mention, this is new. I like the location, and even the method. I may even try the inexpensive Marine fold down cup holder in the same place. Thanks for the tip, Roger.

Too simple!

This is waaaay too simple and cheap for me! Now if it were made of some exotic alloy and cost several hundred $$$ I'd be all over it. :p;):D

Great stuff!
