Hello all. Cant seem to find the Drill sizes for a #4 #6 #8 #10 Dimples
I would like to pick up some reemers.

Thanks in advance

What We Do

Here's what we use in my day job...

#4 screw: .113" diameter (#33 reamer)
#6 screw: .141" diameter (#28 reamer)
#8 screw: .166" diameter (#19 reamer)
#10 screw: .194" diameter (#10 reamer)

I would recommend picking up the Aircraft Standard Handbook. It has a lot of useful information like this in it. Also, if you're wondering about the diameter of the pilot on your dimple die set, I think many of them have that information stamped right on it. YMMV.

Are these the sizes I should use prior to dimpling (pilot) or for final clearance for screws.

I do own that book ill look a bit deeper into her.
Thanks

I never do much with #4 screws, t the standard sizes we use are:

#3 rivet is drill size 40
#4 rivet (1/8") is drill size 30
#6 is drill size 27
#8 is drill size 19
#10 or AN3 is drill size 12
