I'm New Here
Anyone out there who has solved the door hinge gap seal in the RV10, would you send me pics? Couldn't find anything doing a search and Vans wasn't any help but to suggest I querry you guys for info and pics.

Are you referring to the area where the hinge interferes with the ability to put in the seal continuously?? Simple fix is to make a small plate from scrap alum, mount it to the F/G top with a couple of screws, and let the seal ride on that.

Good luck.

By the way, Welcome to the forum.

Builder Robin Marks has as good idea. I will try to do the same.

Should be just enough room to get the hinge nuts in .

Having a problem visualizing that Mike, but I'll wait until I get back out to the hanger,it'll probably come to me then. Is it similar to William's suggestion but with aluminum?

Hope this helps.

The seal used is different from what Vans supplies, but the covers will work just fine for either seal.

Look close, you can see that the seal on the door has a gap at the hinge, the seal for that area is mounted to the aluminum tab on the cabin top, the un-painted piece.
