Don Selig passed following complications from heart surgery. Don wasn't an RV'er, but one of the real old time homebuilders of our area. He held (I believe, anyway) the first Repairman's Certificate ever issued. I witnessed his last flight, about a year ago, when the landing gear on his 40+ year old Playboy broke on takeoff. He skillfully landed with little further damage to the aircraft. He had just finished repairs. He was an active member of EAA Ch 1328 and had followed the building of our 9A. I had hoped to give him a ride. Guess he doesn't need one now. RIP, Don.
