I just moved from my shop to my garage where the wings & gear will get mounted. I've been thinking of getting some jacking dollies like these:

But I'm not sure these will work with the small tires on an RV. Anybody tried these on an RV? There are many manufacturers, both in ratchet and hydraulic styles. These would allow you to move the aircraft laterally with very little effort. They would seem ideal where you are sharing a hangar and need to move an airplane laterally. You can even spin the airplane around on its own axis!

If the rollers don't get close enough together to raise a small RV wheel, I can see a business opportunity if somebody were to build one that would!

Wheel dollies

I bought a pair of wheel dollies at Harbor freight for about $70.

I then made a plywood platform with four casters and built a padded wooden support for the back of my RV 8 to hold it approximately level. For the too many years I have been working on the fuselage in my garage, this has worked great. Pretty low cost solution.
