C ccrawford Well Known Member Mar 14, 2017 #2 Looks like they cut the cover one rivet short. What's under the longeron? (might be normal for a slider) If it bothers you, it would be very easy to drill out those pop rivets and install a new cover. But probably not needed or worth it.

BillL Well Known Member Mar 14, 2017 #4 Yep, it was cut off too short, maybe related to wiring above it. Recommend consulting Vans about this. It would be relatively easy to drill the rivets out and replace with a proper one. Look closely at the wiring above it first.
