This beautiful CGI rendering/flight simulator model of the RV-8 exists somewhere and would be (IMHO) a great thing to use for trying out paint schemes in a realistic fashion.

...however all official links to it are dead ends. It appears that VAF user RV10simbuilder was involved, but again, appears to have fallen off the face of the earth. (http://www.vansairforce.com/community/showthread.php?p=395663#post395663)

Does anyone have any leads?

Thanks Ed. I did a bit of sleuthing myself and I've managed to get in touch with one of the designers colleagues who has forward my e-mail on to him. I'll have to wait for a response now.
