If you have just a single nav/com, can you wire the nav and com outputs together and feed that into the intercom, using the volume controls to select which (or both) you want to listen to? Yes it's clunky, but will it work?

thanks

Ed

This should work fine, Ed. What intercom? I actually added a second radio using only Dynon's intercom and a transmit select switch. I had some issues originally but did not have the transmit interlock wired on my 430. Once I connected the interlock pin on the 430, both radios worked fine with only the intercom.

It works fine, just make sure you use a 150 ohm series resistor on the outputs of both. Tie them together and you are good to go. Benefit is that if your intercom fails, you will still have both functions.
