Good Day Folks,

Well, as I was dimpling my bototm left skin for the HS, my squeezer slipped and I have a figure 8 hole. The second hole isn't even a dimple, just a hole in the skin. I checked the rivet in the dimpled hole and there is no issue with it.

Like I said above, it is on the bottom of the HS so won't be visible. Is there someway that I can fill the hole in? Is there an epoxy compound or something similar that I can put in the hole, then sand it down before I prime the interior of the skin?

I'm not worried about it. There are MANY rivets holding the skin on, however for estetics I was wondering if it can be fixed.

Thanks

Chris

Did the same

Hey Chris - same thing happened to me on my HS. I filled it in right away with some JB Weld epoxy. Set the rivet first then fill in the hole - no worries.

We had the same problem. We finished fingering in some epoxy just before bringing parts to the professional painter.
