I need to start laying out some preliminary electrical architecture. Haven't decided on which software yet but I prefer it not to be anything I have to pay for, especially license.

Does anyone have a library or know of one that contains symbols of the usual suspects; batteries, contactors, relays, diodes, plethora of switch configs, etc.

Knowledge of app importability and compatibility would also be useful.

This would be appreciated and an obvious huge time saver.

Thanks

I used Digikey SchemeIt. Free. I did have to create a couple symbols but it wasn't difficult. It will export as pdf but no DXF functions. I use LibreCad for CAD drawings. Also free.
