Please advise, for future reference, if there are any private or public airstrips outside of Denver, preferably West or SW. I don't see much by looking at the sectional.

If my wife and I retire to that area some time down the road, it would be hard to get used to a larger airport like RMI (JeffCo) or Centennial after flying off W52, a 2600' grass strip since 1996.

I looked too and don't know of any west or sw. north is good, van aire, platte valley, keik and my place 7CO0.

Although not W or SW, Kelly Air Park, CO15, south of Denver is really nice and is in a good location just south of the Bravo. They have a nice R/W. We fly in for their annual pancake breakfast and I think it is a great option.
