Dear Garmin,
In your infinite wisdom why do you mess with our minds :D ?

Why do you name your GPS models the same across different industries? It can get confusing especially when searching for this stuff on your phone.

Examples :

I want to search for Garmin G5 software version:
This is what I find while in the airplane / hanger using my phone: http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=4419
When in fact this is for another Garmin G5 for Golf GPS  https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/31070

THIS is what I need to find the first time. Close one

Or when searching for Garmin 660, I'm hoping to find this https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/520775
But could get confused by these :
https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/15000
or
https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/31946

I know, I know it my fault and I should know better than to just search for a model number and not the entire name and number .

Just giving you all some constructive criticism. Surely you can't run out of model numbers . Maybe the Aviation G5 should have been called the GA5 or something completely different than a Golf GPS model number

Good reason

Amir, they named the G5 to make it easy for me to ask my wife and kids for a Christmas present. I just said, "get me a Garmin G5" - no matter what they came back with, I'd have what I wanted! :D
