What causes high cyl head temp on one cylinder? I was inflight at 2400rpm and had my EIS warning come on with high temp on cyl. Reduced rpm and landed at nearest airport. Checked all wiring, oil temp was normal. Resarted and took off for home. No fault at same rpm and distance flown. Cause?????

which cylinder

running LOP/ROP?
What manifold pressure?

Fuel flow?

What were the other cylinders running?

EGT's?

Need a bit more info to diagnose

Include the CHT number along with the things listed above.

It is possible you have a problem with the probe. Before going crazy, swap it with another cylinder and see how that works.

Not running LOP, others were normal. I think it may have been just a erratic probe. I will try swapping to see if that makes a change.
