If you are traveling internationally, and stop in a country for a fuel stop only, do you have to clear customs for that if you don't leave the airport?

In particular I'm thinking of Washington-Alaska with a Canadian fuel stop, but I guess the question applies generally anywhere.

Doing you homework early Greg?

Heh, I suppose so... bored at work and playing around on Skyvector mapping out routes for some of the places I intend to go. Some of current political pressure points in the world today make me glad I installed the very long range fuel tanks.

Yes, u stop u pay. Check in check out. They want your $$$$. It is all part of the fun. Be patent especially in the Bahamas. It will go faster if you just relax.

By the way, do they only accept $$$ in Canada and Alaska?
