I'm considering adding some custom illuminated panels to my plane. Are there any kits out there? Or companies that will make these up for a reasonable price? Google turns up a lot of diy solutions but these all seem to be for sims or boats. I guess those could work but just looking for pireps.

Not really sure what you are suggesting with back lit instrument panel. I made up back lit switch plate groups with RGBW LED adjustable lighting. It takes some work, but is not really that hard to do with LED light strips. Here is a link to my KitLog pages.
