I've e-mailed Michael Lewis several times last week regarding ordering grips for my 9A...I've even called and left messages. I've not received return calls or return e-mails from him and I'm wondering if anyone out there knows what' going on.....vacation, out-of-business, health issues ???

Any comments or answers appreciated.

Henry -

I traded email with Mike last week. He's probably either holed up in the shop carving grips or spending the holiday with family duties.

Custom Grip Snug Fit

I have Custom Grips and they slide on the sticks without friction. Whats the best way to make them fit tight for flight?

Just a little tape? Or silicon?

Set Screws

The two wood grips I have are hardwood and a left and right.
I drilled and threaded two 1/4" Allen head cup point set screws in each.
One in the back and one inboard. You have to look close to see the holes.
I put them down at the bottom in the fat part of the grip. A plus is the twist
Can be adjusted for a natural fit to your hand. They hold very well.

Simple & great service

I too have the grips. His email was the best way that I found and don't remember any issues. I had to send mine back to get modded for a extra push button and bush the copilot side. I did order some extra ptt switches and boots. I have studied on the best way to secure them from a set screw to E6000 adhesive. Once I get my seating position I believe I will glue them on with E6000. Very good product but will never be able to remove them.
