I always thought that how we fasten cowlings was a bit on the silly side. A few days ago I was removing the cowling on a Cherokee 180 (two small clips on each side, no tools required, very quick to remove the top half) and thoughtl now THERE is the way I want to fasten my RV12 cowling. Has anyone ever done one like this, and how well did it work?
