RV14 owners,

Does the standard ‘Horizontal $59.00 Cowl Inlet plugs” that VANS sale fit the RV14 cowl. I emailed the mothership last week using the email feature in the store but haven’t heard back.

Would like to purchase Vans plugs instead of Bruce’s based on cost, if they fit.

I've used the cut-it-yourself closed cell foam ones for decades. They seem to last forever and you can cut them (use a bandsaw) as snug as you want and make a perfect fit.

AS sells a kit but you could find just the material for a lot less

I use sponges - they seem to be the perfect size. I doubt they would be that good on a rainy day outside, but they work well to keep critters out otherwise.
