Two years ago I came down with it bad after Airventure. My wife and kids unaffected. This year, my wife and I got the nasty version. Kids unaffected again.

I ended up with a nasty case of something at Airventure. I assumed it was COVID, but tested negative when I got home. Unfortunately, whatever it was transitioned into a horrific case of Bronchitis, which kept me up with violent coughing at night for most of Airventure and through most of this week. Just miserable. A <mostly> lost week at Airventure and a mostly lost week this week too.
 
While I didn't get it at Oshkosh, my wife and son got it back home which kept them both from joining me in Oshkosh mid-week. In a way I guess we were lucky because 24 hours later my wife would have been stuck inside our tent camping at OSH coming down with a bad case of it. It was bad enough for her at home. So my Oshkosh ended very early and I drove back home Wednesday morning to take care of them. It's definitely making the rounds again. :oops:
