I countersunk the wrong side of the on my rear HS spar. I countersunk the 2 holes on HS-906 spar doubler instead of only the spar side.
Is it okay to just rivet the shop head into the countersunk hole?

Been 1 and a half years, but finally able to start building again.

I just inserted a drilled out countersunk rivet head in the hole but vans seemed to think even that was not necessary.

I have to disagree with Van's on that one. The drilled-out rivet was not a bad idea. I'd suggest filling the hole with a structural adhesive (Hysol, JB Weld, etc.) and re-drilling after it sets and is sanded flush with the surface.
