Can any of you who still remember working on the empennage kit advise me?

This step requires the trim pushrod to be countersunk in two places. However the pushrod is not very thick and it's curved. Further, the rivet to be inserted is a AN470AD3-9 which is not a flush rivet. What am I supposed to do?

Thanks very much for the quick response. I had the revision but only marked up the comment on the backing up the clevis rod, because that was what Vans had highlighted in their revision notice.
