Is safety wire (.041) acceptable to substitute over a cotter pin on a castle nut assembly?

I ask because the bolt that runs through the electric flap motor has a castle nut when everything is together, and I'll lose my mind if I have to try and get that cotter pin in there again.

castle nuts, cotter pins and safety wire

You may use safety wire in lieu of a cotter pin. AC 43.13-1B states:

7-66. CASTLE NUT (AN310). The castle
nut is used with drilled shank hex head bolts,
clevis bolts, drilled head bolts, or studs that are
subjected to tension loads. The nut has slots or
castellations cut to accommodate a cotter pin
or safety wire as a means of safetying.

Thanks! Can you tell me where in the AC you found that? I ran a word search and came up with nothing.
