I am getting close to the final stages of airframe construction on my 8 . I am using a tinted Todd's canopy with my own canopy skirts ,Sam James Cowl with plenum and wheel pants , Cleveland Wheels and Brakes ( Van's uses Matco now ) ,GoodYear tires ,Michelin Tubes, Aviation Products Tailwheel . With so many deletions , I put together my own "Finish Kit " ,ordering what I need ( canopy frame and parts , engine mount ,spinner, baffle etc) . This worked out costing the same as "The Finish Kit " that is offered . May not be as easy as calling an ordering one "Kit " but I got all the goodies without paying a premium .
