Hi all,
I am looking for advice on ways to inspect for corrosion in an engine that has been idle for years (but in a dry environment, and properly pickled initially) On an IO-360 A1B, is there any other places to try for internal access with a borescope other than removing a jug?
Same for the accessory case...
From what I have been able to look at so far, there is no 'apparent' corrosion.
BTW, I fully expect that a complete teardown will be required, I am just looking at 'quick' ways to triage the engine before it is sent off to an expert.
