The front of the cooling ramp interfers with the engine mount on my A model. Does anyone have any input as to how you handled that issue?

I have trimmed the lip of the ramp, that turns up toward the engine mount howver the lip still contacts the tubes of the engine mount that hold the nose gear socket in place. This contact with the engine mount is probably only a problem with the "A" models.

Thanks

Tony,

Those ramps are supposed to go on the inside of the top cowling. :D

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I'm confused by your comment, any chance you can post a picture?

You can see in this pic that the engine mount tubes interfere with the ramp both on the sides and at the very top of the lip of the ramp...which is not easily seen in the pic.

Keep trimming

Tony, the ramp is not "fit" to the mount. You have to trim to fit. It decribes this ( if memory serves) on the print. Mine was the same way and once trimmed and dressed it fit fine.

I didn't have that problem with mine, but it looks to me like you just need to trim the sides of the ramp down a bit more.
