Hi everyone,

I recently installed the cooling air ramp on my fuselage and had a question about the hinge pin. The pin extends through the skin on the right side of the fuselage. I think it comes through the F-851, but I'm not looking at my drawings. How is the end of the pin secured?

Also, when you riveted the ramp to the web of the firewall, did you put the manufactured head of the flush rivets on the cockpit side of the firewall, or on the forward face? I have not found either answer in the drawings yet.

Hi Craig,

On my Quick Build, the pin was just bent over in an "L" shape about 2" long, and I just et it be captured by the upper intersection fairing. It was still there yesterday when I had the fairing off for inspection....

The ramp rivets at the firewall have the manufactured head on the firewall side.
