As part of my panel upgrade - I wanted to use the flexible nylon tubing to share between the steam gauges to GRT EFIS.

It turns out that I can find these nice fittings that are use from stein. However, I can't find a way to convert my pitot and existing connectors to this style.

Any ideas or adapter that I can buy? I did not want to replace all lines which is way it is more difficult. Something that allows a female connector that is already on the pitot line to a male adapter that is nylon is what I want ...

Go to Mcmaster Carr. They have a very good selection of "Push to Connect" fittings for 1/4" vynal tube. Plenty have male and female NPT fittiings for interconnection to your devices and AL. tube. You can use a stand AN fitting to convert from AL tube to NPT, if you need to.

I'm a litle confused by the title ("flexible" aluminum to nylon). I hope my comments help. Sorry if off base.

A fairly standard way to convert from 1/4" flaired aluminum to 1/4" polyflo or similar is to use two fittings from the Stein link you posted.

Put together the two parts Num P-515 and P-AN816-4D with ferrule and B-nut.

On mine (and I'm sure many others), this conversion is done in the wing once one is away from the heated pitot and the whole cabin is plastic tubing runs using polyflo fittings like Stein sells.

There is an alternate method using 1/4" INSIDE diameter hose. Just slip it over the aluminum tubing and the 1/4" plastic tubing. Clamp as desired.
This was not good enought for me to feel comfortable in IFR but I would use it for VFR.

YMMV

That method has proved to be totally reliable for the past 17 years in my RV-6.

From the same stein link you provided... halfway down on the right. you'll need this:

If the nylon tubing is the same size as the aluminum tubing, you can just flair it also and use the same fittings you would use on the aluminum side.
