Some time ago there was a forum talking to the modification of the control stick to accomdate control grip wiring. Specifically there was much concern with drilling into the stick and thereby weakening it. I modified mine and I don't claim it is as strong as an unmodified one. I am convinced however that the odds of applying enough force to fail the stick fall into the "Jessica Simpson will call me tonight" catagory.
