Just finished connecting the control stick pushrods and installation of the flap handle and detent bracket. As a result, the control column no longer travels to the aft stop. It appears that aft travel is being limited by the control stick pushrods. The position of the flap handle makes no difference. The control column will travel to the forward stop. It seems I read somewhere that the stabilator stops are engaged before the control column stops. As I have not yet attached the tailcone, the stabilator cables are not installed and I cannot confirm. Can anyone verify that the stabilator stops pre-empt the control column stops or else speculate on what my rigging problem might be?

Thanks in advance,
Tom

Problem Solved

Gus at Van's figured it out. To recap, after adjusting the length (2 turns) of one of the rod end bearings on a control stick pushrod, I had failed to maintain the 90 degrees orientation (of the bearings) which induced a binding that limited full range of motion. A quick fix indeed.
