I searched but couldn’t find any discussion about this.
OP-44 sheet 3, step 3 says: Position the CB-705B Oil Cooler Brace on the CB-705A Cylinder 4 Aft Baffle per plans page OP-27
if I look at OP-27A, I cannot find anything similar to the 705B oil cooler brace. I imagine this might be because the 705A brace is newer than OP-27A, perhaps added to reduce cracking?
I think this gets into the whole “mount oil cooler as high as possible for best cooling“ think but I don’t see how I can move forward without deciding oil cooler height now.
