I'm thinking of running a flexible conduit under my baggage floor similar to what Tim shows below. Two questions for the VAF brain trust:

- How far apart should the conduit supports be?
- Is it okay for the conduit to rest on the floor as shown?

You can let it just lay on the skin. To keep it from rubbing around, put a couple of blobs of proseal or equivalent adhesive under the conduit to stick it in place.

Here is what my dad and I did.

We just layed it in and clamped the ends with the slack pulled out.

Don't run the conduit under where the step bolt goes through. It will make installing or removing the bolt very difficult, and possibly chafe the conduit over time.

Thanks for the help guys. I will glue conduit down to the floor and avoid the step bolt area.
