The conduit only needs to extend just a little past the rib - just enough to make sure it's secure - maybe 1/2".
Give yourself a few feet of AOA line. I joined mine to the lines I ran from the panel in the outboard bay under the seat rib cover.
You need more pitot line then you might think. I had to install a new longer line when I got ready to mount the wings. What I didn't realize is that the pitot line had to make a sharp turn and run aft, parallel to the rib, before making the turn to go into through the fuselage. When I re-did mine, I gave my self plenty of extra and then cut it to final lenght after mounting the wings.
