So my compression tester has decided to give me a hassle. It's an Eastern Technology E2A, roughly 5-6 years old and used maybe twice per year. The problem is the fill valve (circled) has seized up and become really difficult to turn. I can get it to turn with pliers but figure it really ought to be fixed. Has anyone else run into this and how did you fix it? Disassembly and mouse milk maybe? Send it back to the factory? My condition inspection is due in March, I thought I oughta get a head start on this...

Thanks!

Just place it in the open position and leave it there.
Increase and decrease the pressure with the regulator knob. It is much safer that way.

Yep. Mine is impossible to turn by hand too. I guess I should fix that some day now that you bring it up.
