I recently placed an order for a Flight Cheeta FL190 (07/13/09) since I was impressed with it's features as compared to Garmin's 696. Also their yearly subscription cost is an attractive $300 which includes approach plates, sectional charts, runway diagrams, ect.
I was informed that my unit would ship in 4-5 business days and my credit card was charged on 07/15/09. On 07/27/09 (2 weeks later) after not recieving my unit I called and was informed that the hard drive was in short supply and shippment would be in a few days. I also asked for the UPS tracking number when it shipped. As of today I have recieved nothing or heard nothing.
Has any one had dealings with Tru Flight and what have they been. I am becomming nervous wondering what to expect if and when I recieve my unit.
