R RV10Pilot Well Known Member Oct 13, 2021 #2 It looks like there are 3 choices of brake pads for the Cleveland brakes (30-59E) on the 10. APS66-11200 APS BRAKE LINING (O) $9.50 each https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/lgpages/aps_brklining_07-20210.php RAPCO BRAKE LINING RA066-11200 $9.79 each https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/stpages/rapco_brklinig_RA66-112.php CLEVELAND 66-112 ORGANIC BRAKE LINING $30.50 each https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/lgpages/cleve_brklining_66-112.php Will all three work? Is there any significant difference between the 3? Also, what lubricant / anti seize, if any, are you using on the posts that the backing plate slides on?

T Tim Lewis Well Known Member Oct 24, 2021 #3 APS There were multiple reports of the Rapco pads deteriorating - the edges sort of crumbled. I don't use anything but APS now. Long lasting, good price. Post lubricant - I shoot some teflon spray on the posts.
