Cleveland Ports

I installed Cleveland ports a couple of years ago in my RV-4 with good results. They are machined to match the configuration of the standard pop rivet port and mimic its boundary effects. I conducted pitot static calibration ground and flight tests prior to and after installing the ports and found minimal static source error with the Cleveland ports. The results of flight test for my airplane are contained in the POH that is available on this site, data is corrected to CAS. These ports are easy to install and allow utilization of quick connect fittings. The standard pop rivet also works very well if installed IAW plans and properly sealed so the static system does not leak.

I have these and they work very well. Look good, easy install, and comparisons with other RVs in flight they appear to match very closely (and match GPS altitude even closer when the baro is set appropriately).

I like 'em.
