Could someone give me the clearance dimension from the center of the belly skin, under the wing spar, to the ground on a standard RV9a.

Terry I will measure it for you tonight. Full fuel I assume? It's about 7 gallons in both tanks now.

'clearance' would suggest you are trying to 'clear' something.
I'm curious what the number would be with cold air in the tires, at full gross, on soft ground, and don't forget the typical antennas hangin down there.
..wait a minite...the nosewheel is the lowest point along the centreline!

I JUST measured that yesterday, to get supports for hanging the wings. Mine measures 28".

27 3/4 with 5 gallons in both tanks and 27 1/2 with full fuel.
