I guess this specifically applies to sliders operated in hot areas like I am, with passengers that don't know better (they will next time!), but it's a valid point.

"Arms inside, canopy coming forward."

I took my cousin up for a joyride, and neglected to say anything as I grabbed the canopy and pulled it forward, and the roller caught his arm real good as he had his arm resting on the rail.

Related hazard: I typically crack open the canopy just after touchdown. If the passenger happens to have a hold of the grab handle that is mounted on my roll bar at that time, their fingers can really get a bad mashing. Guess how I know?
