After purchasing Gunter Malich RV8, which was built and registered in Canada, it took 23 days to register the plane and get a US AWC. The worst part, the USPS took 10 days to deliver the envelope containing all the originals and checks the FAA required. The envelope was sent using Priority Mail. It should have taken 2 days. Then I imagine CGMGO would have become N888CR in 15 days!
