I have a sloppy brake caliper assembly. The anchor bolts #4 may be the worn part, or it may be the torque plate assembly item 17. $185:eek:
For those experienced brake folks, is it usually the anchor bolts (pins) or the plate receiver that wears?
Good answer would the the bolts at $25 each.

Parts breakdown here.

Thanks

With 4,000+ hours on a set of 500x5 calipers I've replaced worn anchor pins twice; never the anchor plate.

Try Grove?

Eyeball engineering sez the Grove parts interchange. My bet is they are also cheaper, and of the same quality. Let me know if I can help.

Confirm: you're looking at #4 as it slides into #17? I have a spare of each if you want to try 'em.

Carry on!
