You probably got the postcard from the gentleman in Florida -- Bill Ford -- who is marketing a center console for RV7As that makes it easier for people to get in and out of RVs.
I bought one and turned it over to my pal at KSGS who put it together and came upon one stumbling block: It attaches to the flap housing "strut" but how does it attach to the little cover over the aileron pushrod?
Ideally, it seemed to me, it would fit over that cover or maybe even have that cover riveted to the console as one unit.
But, my pal reports, it doesn't. It's the same width as the cover.
Wondering if anyone has installed this and whether you found that to be the case.
I'll call Bill later today and ask him but I was just curious what others have found?
