I want to add an oil filter to my O-290 "D" (converted GPU engine and was wondering if any of you buds with "3's" and a "conical mount are using it and like it...??? Van's accessory catalog says to use a 1.5 inch spacer...is that really required for this application?
I have an O-320 accessory case in the mail so will hopefully soon be able to bolt things together and see what I've got for clearance around the mags, etc.
