The carb heat flap door on my 6A that I bought is forced partly open by ram air at speeds above about 100 mph. The cable control is the “bumpy friction” type, but friction is not enough. I tried putting a helper spring to assist in keeping it closed ( heat on), but couldn’t do it without it being a hodgepodge that I wasn’t happy with. Anyone else with this problem?
