I made a new thread under engines "Hartzell S-1-10 Governor Cable Installation" and it doesn't show up when I log onto the website Forums. I did a little research on the subject question and posted my own reply. Still doesn't show up when I log onto the website Forums. As shown below, the thread does show up under "Your threads". Is it normal for the OP to not see his thread on Forums until someone else replies to it? Thanks.

Check your filters. You're likely only viewing unread posts.

In addition, you can click on what’s new. Also, you can click on your avatar twice and select postings. That will show you everything you’ve ever posted

This is something that tripped me up too, when the forum transitioned to the new software. Now, your newly-added post is automatically marked as read, so you won't see it in the usual list of new posts unless you delete the "Show only: Unread" filter.

As for whether people posting here are actually reading what they wrote before clicking the button... well...
