I'm New Here
I have a question about finishing the front end of the sliding canopy. I was going to sika my canopy, but after some over aggressive trimming i found insufficient end clearance to do so...anyway I ended up riveting it on...a done deal, however, the front end with the exposed rivets is not very attractive. I had seen an 8 with that front end finished.

Any suggestions on how to finish that front end of the slider?? I am considering a thin layer of fibergalss with some filler to square up the canopy with the slider frame. any drawbacks to that??

YES

You may as well. You won't be able to see thru the roll bar tube or the front canopy tube along with the seal between them anyway. This way you can get a good seal and good looks, along with the strength the 'glass adds. ;)
