Doing 'da dreaded canopy--rv 9, tip-up question: the top fuse skin that fit between firewall and canopy frame (f 771 ) and the skin on front of canopy frame (c 702 ) --- I seem to have to leave a gap of 1/16 or more to allow canopy frame to pivot with no interferance between edges of skins. both skins equal height with straight edge. Kinda dislike gap (rain, dust, etc.) Any suggestions on how to handle?

Gas springs

If you haven't installed your gas springs yet your gap width will change. If fact it will get wider once the gas springs are installed.

My gap is approximately .040-.050". I believe once the front top skin is riveted in place I will have to shave some off the skin to prevent an interference.
