I have a canopy from Todd's and have trimmed it until it is in contact with the roll bar, how ever I still have quite a gap on the sides between the forward upper skin on both sides near the roll bar and not much over lap of the slider frame,

I was planning to go the Sika route, but if I do not have enough over lap I could take the spacers out and gain some more trimming in the front to bring the sides down

so my question is, should I trim more from the very front of the canopy to bring it forward and down or just make the big cut now? if I make the big cut will I have enough area for the Sika bond?

hard to see in this pic but the canopy is sitting down nicely on the front skin

from the looks of the one photo, there does not appear to be a lot of overlap on the horizontal run of the frame. might be the angle from which the picture was shot- - though I'd consider lowering the canopy a bit to get more area to which the sika could bond with the frame.
