As a casualty of my work creating a fiberglass aft canopy fairing, the back of my canopy has some nasty scuff marks. The sort you would get from scuffing it with sandpaper or scotchbright :(
I've tried several applications of ClearView polish on these, but the white-ish scuff marks remain.
They're over the back of the baggage compartment, so not an issue in flight, but still a cosmetic blemish. Is there anything that I could use to buff these out, so that they show less?

clear

has anybody tried to put Clear Coat in a scratch like this and polish it?? It would be catalyzed of course. sure sounds better than buying a new Canopy.

Micro-Mesh

I've watched paint shop guys whip out their Leatherman and carve out stripper burns. Successive sanding grits all the way through the Micro-Mesh 6000 and polish and it's crystal clear (maybe a little wavy). Point is, you can polish anything out of acrylic sheet if you pick up all your scratches with each successive grit and final polish.
