The side of the forward skin is hitting the canopy frame as it comes forward.

The rails are bang on dimension.

The forward hoop had no adjustment.

As with the 7, is it OK to relieve this area as the composite 'targa strip' will cover all this area after fitting.

Any other suggestions before I start cutting plastic ?

Mike,
I always trim that skin flush with the curved piece that blind rivets to the roll bar. The fiberglass "Targa" strip covers the gap.
Good luck

What service Gentlemen.........

Thank you.

Nigel......... Pass me the Dremel, we are going to cut aluminum :D

2 pence worth!

Hello Mike,

I would not trim back to the support as suggested as the skin provides a good bond and strength for the targa strip.

Just use a 2 pence piece aligned to the top and trailing edge and then use that to provide the relief you need, then tidy up the remaining edges. Voila!

Regards
